Kashmir gets first place, Karnataka second in All India Naat Competetion

Bhatkal: The two-day All India Naat Competition and Qiraat presentation program held here in YMSA Ground in Bhatkal in which total sixteen students from across the country participated was a grand success, as thousands of people attended the program with their earnest zeal and religious fervour. Kashmir secured first place, Karnataka second while MP and UP gets the third place jointly in the Naat competition. The Naat program began at 8.45pm on January 1, 2010. The second session of the program was held the next day January, 2 2010, which commenced at around 9pm. Speaking on the occasion, Moulana Sayed Salman Hussaini Nadvi in his inspiring speech urged the audience to hold on to the teachings of Quran and spread this message of Almighty Allah to the people across the globe. He said that Qur'an is meant for guidance not only for Muslims but to whole humanity. The winners of the All India Naat Competition 1st Mr. Haffizullah S/o Maqbool, Madrasa Sirajul Uloom, Srinagar (Kashmir)2nd Mr. Abdus Subahan S/o Muhammad Hussain, Madrasa Misbahul Uloom, Gangoli (Karnataka)3rd Mr. Sayed Hyder Ali S/o Hamid Ali, Madrasa Tajul Uloom, Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh)And Abdul Bari S/o Shafeequr Rahman, Nadvathul Ulama Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh)All the participants of the competition were honoured on the occasion with consolation prizes and certificates. On this occasion, Moulana Athar Ruknuddin Nadvi, editor of SahilOnline (Urdu) was honoured with special award along with cash prize of Rs. 10,000/-.The program came to an end with the Dua by Moulana Iqbal Mulla Nadvi. On this occasion, Moulana Abdul Bari Nadvi, Moulana Abdul Aleem Quasimi, Moulana Khwaja Mueenuddin Akrami Madani Moulana Ilyas Jakti Nadvi and other prominent Islamic scholars were present. The Qiraat presentation event was anchored by Moulana Irfan Nadvi.
